Stephen Richards grew up in Burlington, Vermont and joined the staff at Spruce Mortgage formally in 2014 as a licensed loan officer.
Stephen is an entrepreneur, having purchased his first property at age 13. From that point forward Stephen invested in and managed real estate properties in Burlington, Vermont as well as Florida. Stephen is a 2011 graduate of Champlain College with a degree in Business.
He is committed to putting the needs of his clients first. Stephen is responsive, service-oriented, and takes pride in helping people.
Stephen is also committed to the community and enjoys working with student athletes in a role as Junior Varsity Lacrosse coach at South Burlington High School, with an undefeated season in 2014. He currently serves on the Board of the Stern Center and previously served on the Development Committee for Lund Family Center and Maple Leaf Farm. Stephen volunteers in many fundraising activities throughout the year such as The Dragon Boat Race, Slam Diabetes, Special Olympics, and For One Another Foundation, Inc.
Stephen enjoys being active including playing golf, spending time with family and friends, and meeting new people.
